I stomp my feet three times; I ascend to the throne of my well-being and take my seat in meditation to focus on releasing, letting go and to spend some quiet time in a state of relaxed awareness. I quiet my mind to complete the following healing process:
“ I love the Universe and the Universe loves me”
“ I love Beauty and Beauty loves me”
“I love Truth and Truth loves me”
“ I love Honor and Honor loves me”
“ I love Wisdom and Wisdom loves me”
I recommend that one can say the above affirmation aloud or silently, repeating it three times, release it and let go.
As I contemplate what I need to release now and in the coming weeks, I am charged by one of my coaches to envision institutions that instill Mindful Contemplation rooms and Mindful Movement rooms, easily and readily accessible to Staff and where appropriate the public. This one particular coach is specifically thinking of our Medical Institutions as places that need to release their outmoded ideas and open up to making our medical institutions true places of healing and well-being. Through my work with the Center for Mind Body Medicine, I have participated in a program where a large hospital system here in the US is attempting to become the first wellness-based hospital system in the United States. Some of the results of this work; hospital roof top garden, growing vegetables and herbs, to be used in a revamped nutritional program for both the hospital staff and the the patients; the hospital staff and stakeholders were trained in small group facilitation utilizing evidenced based mind body medicine techniques; and a robust employee wellness program established.
May this vision and other visions be so, as our institutions need to transform and become true places of healing.
I am also reviewing and releasing outmoded habits around everything from finances to self-care and committing to new systems of organization, taking the time to declutter and nourish myself with mindful active practices of forgiveness and gratitude.
What are you releasing? What we write down has a 5x’s greater chance of becoming a reality than these thoughts and intentions we simply think about. I suggest you write down a list of at least three things you would like to revisit and release in the coming month. Give yourself goal date, write that down too and then if you like share your list with me atand I will be your accountability partner for the month!
